Are you talking to me?
The invitation to take part in ‘Are you talking to me?’ was extended to nine artists and artist collectives. The show aims at explorations of the relationship between art institutions and the public. The project attempts to create an experience space that focuses attention on societal notions concerning communication, thought and common actions in a globalised world. The art institution is consequently not only a venue for social events where the audience is only a passive observer or receiver but also a space where public mental processes and actions shaped by the staff, the artists as well as the visitors can take place. The show triggers discourses that reflect current social topics, creating in this way a space that also enables discussions and communications to unfold.
