The Lichtoper

Colours whirling around, extraordinary sounds and lively performances – the Lichtoper (opera of light) had the audience at the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum in awe. The artistic project is part of the various accompanying program for the exhibition “Stimme des Lichts- Delaunay, Apollinaire und der Orphismus” (The Voice of Light – Delaunay, Apollinaire and Orphism)

Adolescents and adults from Ludwigshafen and the region were welcomed to be a special part of this project. In different workshops, the performance was developed and designed by the participants with regard to the role of light in religion, art and everyday life alongside their own ideas and impressions.
